Medicare: Getting Started

Take the guesswork out of Medicare. This free, unbiased class is for anyone new to Medicare and those wanting a refresher. The discussion covers Parts A, B, C, and D and your Medicare benefits and options, including a comparison of Medicare Advantage plans and Medigaps. 

Statewide Health Insurance Benefits Advisors (SHIBA) provide free, unbiased, and confidential counseling services and are part of the Washington State Office of the Insurance Commissioner. SHIBA is a statewide network of trained volunteers who advocate for and assist consumers with Medicare. 

Aging & Long Term Care of Eastern Washington (ALTCEW) is the local sponsor of SHIBA and provider of Medicare education.
